My name is Mahalia Scott but you can call me Señora Scott. I am originally from Panama City, Panama, and English is my second language. I have two beautiful and rambunctious daughters and a very loving husband. We spent our summer touring the Korean peninsula and spending time with each other. If you are wondering what brought me to South Korea, the answer is very easy -I am a proud US military wife! My husband was assigned to this peninsula for two years, and this is the start of our second year here. As we arrived to South Korea, I was very fortunate to be recruited to teach Spanish at this school and to help lay the foundations for language acquisition. Now that the summer is behind us, it’s time to embark on this year’s language journey. We will begin working on the three fundamental pillars of language –speaking, writing, and listening comprehension. Hope you are ready to express yourself and test for limits. Welcome to my class!
